Welcome to the Reception Class. We learn and play together – and we try to help one another.
Our Teacher:
Mrs Cato is the Reception Class teacher. She is looking forward to working closely with parents and children over the year to ensure that every child receives an inspirational and exciting year. Mrs Cato wants children to develop their learning and enjoy themselves.
Foundation Stage:
The Reception class is the first year in school, setting the foundations for learning. During this time the children will be learning through play and practical experience as they follow the six learning areas in the foundation stage curriculum. Towards the end of their Reception year the children will be developing the skills and experiences needed as they progress towards Key Stage 1.
